The lesson begins with a walking tour of the famous open market in Campo Dei Fiori, Rome, where a professional Chef will guide you in choosing the best seasonal ingredients.
Then, you will collaborate to create the traditional menu you will cook and enjoy.
It’s a short walk through the beautiful historic center to Federico’s apartment in the heart of Trastevere (one of the oldest parts of Rome).
Here, you become a ‘ Rome Cooking Class Rome Chef in a Day,’ and the adventure begins! From scratch, you will be taught how to make three different kinds of pasta from 2 other doughs ( long pasta, stuffed pasta, and short pasta), prepare a traditional second course of meat or fish with vegetables, and a delicious dessert.
The cooking class will last approximately 5 hours. All recipes will be explained in detail, and tips and suggestions will be provided during the lesson. The chef teaches traditional recipes, the proper method, and the right ingredients.
